What is Sports Premium?
Sports Premium funding is allocated by the government and aimed at making additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE and sport in primary school, so that all pupils are encouraged to develop healthy and active lifestyles.
This funding is ring-fenced and therefore can only be spent on PE and sport in Primary Schools; however individual schools have the freedom to decide how they do this.
